Our Story

We aim to improve mental health and wellbeing through fitness and sport through accessible fitness sessions, including couch to 5K programmes, estate based exercise classes, walks and events.

Exercise is a powerful tool in improving mental wellbeing and mental health with studies showing that it can reduce anxiety and the symptoms of depression, improve mood, self esteem and cognitive function. It also has the power to connect people and bring people together, helping to combat social isolation and loneliness in our communities.

We have been lucky to have been funded and supported on our journey by Model City London, a partnership between Laureus Sport for Good, Nike and the Mayor of London, aimed at improving social integration through sport.

We have delivered programmes across estates, virtual challenges and live streamed workouts, supported projects in partners

We have been lucky to have been funded and supported on our journey by Model City London, a partnership between Laureus Sport for Good, Nike and the Mayor of London, aimed at improving social integration through sport.

We have delivered programmes across estates, virtual challenges and live streamed workouts, supported projects in partnership with other organisations and mental health support provision.

OUR PROMISES

  • To promote the benefits of movement and exercise for mental health 
  • To provide opportunities for participants to partake in low cost or free fitness activities and events, centred around feeling good, improving mental health and connecting with others
  • To provide resources to support mental health & wellbeing and signposting to mental health services
